▶강사 소개 : Dr. Rafael Caro Repetto is a lab expert, senior lecture and researcher at Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria (IT:U). Trained as ethnomusicologist, his main field of research is the music of Chinese traditional theatre. In his work, he combines ethnographic methods with computational tools for music analysis and music education. This interdisciplinary methodology has been the common thread in his research on other music traditions such as North Indian classical music, Arab-Andalusian music from Morocco and more recently, Iranian dastgāhi music. Caro Repetto's work on Chinese traditional theatre sparked his interest in the relationship between body movement and singing, and thus towards motion capture technologies. At IT:U he is responsible for the motion and audio lab, and for teaching regarding motion capture and audio technologies.

▶내용 : Interdisciplinary Transformation University (IT:U) is one of the first public universities in Europe dedicated to digitalization and digital transformation. On its campus in Linz, Austria, it offers students a project-based and inclusive approach to technical education. Students from a wide range of disciplines learn digital skills they can use in their field to tackle global challenges. At this digital transformation university, students are trained to be the interdisciplinary, computationally empowered transformers of tomorrow. IT:U's strategy for creating impact is to view its interdisciplinary scientific model, its personalized education model, and its third mission model not as separate pillars but as interconnected and interdependent facets of a modern university.
