 Drug Prevention Guide for International Students

As drug-related issues continue to grow in severity worldwide, we would like to provide the following information to help ensure a safe and healthy campus life for our international students. South Korea strictly regulates all types of narcotics, including cocaine, opium, ketamine, cannabis, and methamphetamine (also known as Philopon), and the legal penalties for violations are extremely severe.

Drug addiction can cause damage to the central nervous system and cardiovascular complications, posing a serious threat to life. Long-term use for drug can result in brain dysfunction and mental changes. Furthermore, individuals may become exposed to criminal activities and face risks associated with secondary crimes. Even a single moment of curiosity can lead to a lifetime of suffering. Please be fully aware of the dangers of drug use, and we kindly ask for your cooperation in maintaining a safe and drug-free campus environment for all.
